In the Spirit of Thanksgiving!
and just for being a teacher, we here at Kindercritters want to give you all a little something!
We have a new scarecrow blackline book that we would like to offer you for free (available for download until January 1st). It can be used alone, or as a companion to the Little Old Woman Who Was Not Afraid of Anything!.

The book has blank lines for students to write the numbers 1 and 2 on (advanced kids can write one and two) and pictures to color. But, best of all, they will quickly learn to "read" this easy book! It is also great for teaching the sight words I and see! Click on each page shown to download and ENJOY!
Want some creative teaching ideas following the Scarecrow theme? Check out Kelli's Scarecrow Thematic Unit at The Learning Leap!

She has posted pictures of student work, fun activities, and pocket chart games for you to enjoy. You will be inspired! These activites were the ones we used in our own classrooms along with the book!
All of this is just our little way of saying,
Thank You For All You Do!
